On Saturday, November 19th, UWP had its beautiful fall choir concert. Faces of the Divine was presented by UW-Platteville’s Department of Performing and Visual Arts. UWP’s Chamber Choir and University Singers presented works by Albrechtsberger, Hagenberg, Kirchner, Brahms, Scarlatti, Esenvalds, and Debussy. The songs were a mix of emotionally filled songs such as Famine Song, which is about people starving and praying for rain. Then there was also happy songs like Wanna Baraka and Pure Imagination from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Thanks for coming!
Thanks to the residents of 2 West that went to see Comedian Tyler Boeh! It was a great way to relieve stress by listening to some funny beat boxing jokes, some Platteville history jokes, dating jokes, and a few sex jokes. The stand up comedians can be seen on the calendars around the wing and at the university website.
